Vanessa is a clinical psychologist who developed a passion for the support of neurodivergent individuals whilst working in mental health services.

Vanessa completed her PhD in 2014, which explored the relationship between autism and eating disorders. She then went on to complete her clinical doctorate and worked within a child and adolescent eating disorders inpatient service for five years. During this time she was passionate about how best to support adaptations for neurodivergent patients. Alongside her clinical work, Vanessa is an honorary lecture at University College London (UCL), on the ‘eating disorders and clinical nutrition’ Masters (MSc) course.

Vanessa has an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience and has always been fascinated by how the human brain processes information. Throughout her career Vanessa has facilitated various assessments in several different settings, including brain injury services and neurodevelopmental services.

Vanessa also works in private practice, offering psychological support to adults for a variety of mental health conditions and post diagnostic support for people recently diagnosed with neurodivergence.
